    PS3 Setup Guide (HEN / CFW / SPRX)

    Get your modded PS3 connected to the Skate 3 tools - covers HEN with webMAN, CFW with CCAPI, and installing the SPRX mod menu.

    Before You Begin

    You must be on the same local network as your PS3 to use any of the connection tools covered here.

    Same Wi-Fi or Ethernet switch required - this will not work over the internet.

    Your PS3 must already be modded (HEN or CFW). This guide covers software setup only.

    HEN - Setting Up webMAN

    Make sure you have webMAN installed. If not, follow this tutorial before continuing.

    From the XMB, navigate to webMAN Games → webMAN Setup → PS3 webMAN [Setup]. A browser window will open to configure webMAN.

    Find the expandable "XMB/In-game PAD SHORTCUTS" tab and click the arrow to expand it.

    On the right side, tick the "CCAPI" checkbox and then enable PS3MAPI next to it.

    Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save".

    Get your PS3's IP address from Network Settings → Connection Status.

    Launch Skate 3 on your PS3, then open the Skate 3 HEN Tool on your PC. Enter your PS3's IP address and click "Attach to Main EBOOT".

    CFW - Setting Up CCAPI

    If you do not have CCAPI installed on your CFW PS3, follow this tutorial first.

    Get your PS3's IP address from Network Settings → Connection Status.

    Open the PS3 CFW tool on your PC, choose CCAPI as the connection method, and click Connect.

    Select your PS3 from the list that appears, then click "Attach". You are ready to go.

    Requirements: a modded PS3 (CFW or HEN) and either a USB stick or an internet connection on your PS3.
